The KGI Edit #12

.) When designing a space, I always like to include a touch of boho (no matter what style dominates the room) because it adds just the right touch of color, texture and makes the room feel layered. If boho is your jam, then you need to know about the brand St. Frank. Just take one look at their website and you’ll see what I mean...SO MUCH INSPIRATION.

.) I first saw this style chair when I was staying at a boutique hotel in New Orleans. I was instantly drawn to the simplicity of the shape and the texture of the rattan and cane seating. I started sourcing immediately, and realized it was super hard to find!! I was pissed. At the time, I was just getting into my new design studio, and desperately wanted two of these for the seating area. And then, miraculously, Urban Outfitters started carrying them online just a few weeks later. It was meant to be! If you’re looking for an accent chair that is truly unique, definitely check out the Marte Lounger. Or stop by my studio to see it in person!

.) As soon as the warm weather hits, I put on an ankle bracelet, and it doesn’t come off until Fall. It just makes every summery outfit look better. I have purchased many brands over the years, and I’m here to tell you that the absolute best ones are made by my friend Steffi, owner of S.V.DECKER. The styles are always adorable, price point is always great, and customer service is unparalleled. Check her stuff out online, or visit her super cute store at the Harborwalk on 22 Broad Street in Milford, CT.

.) If you’re looking for a “summery” coffee table book, full of color inspiration, then this book is it. Published by Assouline (so you know it’s good), the book cover alone makes me smile. I saw it in person for the first time in Newport, RI and snatched it up immediately. It’s a stunning collection of photos and interesting information on the Lilly brand history. You’ll find yourself coming back to this book each summer.
